A ribbon cutting for a new game room happened Wednesday morning at Friendship Village Campground in Bedford.
Betsie Neff, one of the owners of Friendship Village, said they always had a game room at the campground, but took it over after the previous owners of the room told them they were going out of business.
Neff said they equipped the game room with a more modern setup and, even though it's open to all ages, they hope to attract more teenagers.
Neff said, "Because a lot of times when they come camping with their parents, they get restless or they maybe don't even want to come along at that certain age, but we thought that this would be an attraction for more of tween, teenagers to be able to come and enjoy themselves while they're here with their families."
The game room is also open to the public and will typically be open during office hours, and will operate from nine in the morning until nine in the evening during the summer.
