HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN CO. (WOLF) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is pleased to announce a new state record Yellow Perch! On the afternoon of April 9, 2021, angler Kirk Rudzinski, 63, of Erie, departed the East Avenue Boat Launch along with friend Sam Troup, 62, also of Erie, to enjoy a few hours of fishing. The friends traveled four to five miles east to the area of the Sunoco Cribs where they anchored in sight of the high-rise building at the Brevillier Village community.

Somerset puppies surrendered to humane society by breeder leaves families empty-handed

SOMERSET- Controversy is unfolding in Somerset County over two litters of German shepherd puppies, soon to be up for adoption at the Humane Society. Sixteen of the 22 puppies surrendered by the breeder already had families interested, or had put a deposit down. The Humane Society told 6 News that those families can put in an application, but it’s not guaranteed they will get a puppy. “We were all psyched and excited.

Two children killed in early morning fire in Delaware County

Upper Darby Township, PA — Authorities say two children were killed in an early morning house fire in Upper Darby, Delaware County. According to Fire Chief Derrick Sawyer, the fire began at about 4:03 a.m., at a residence along the 300 block of Margate Road. Officials say when crews arrived, they encountered heavy fire on the second floor of the home. Two children were killed in the fire, Sawyer said.

'Family friend' accused of killing 3-year-old boy y overdose charged with murder

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Grove City man accused in the death of a 3-year-old boy made his first court appearance on Thursday, and was officially charged with murder on Friday. Randy Mollett was arraigned on charges of reckless homicide and child endangerment on Thursday. According to court documents, Mollett called 911 on April 13 to report a 3-year-old in his care had a seizure. The child was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he died later.
