Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — In Centre County, festival week is again drawing thousands of people and that includes downtown State College where the 57th Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts kicked off with the traditional Children’s Day.

Locals describe Kids Day as a big neighborhood block party, drawing kids of all ages.

A ribbon cutting for a new game room happened Wednesday morning at Friendship Village Campground in Bedford.
Betsie Neff, one of the owners of Friendship Village, said they always had a game room at the campground, but took it over after the previous owners of the room told them they were going out of business.
Neff said they equipped the game room with a more modern setup and, even though it's open to all ages, they hope to attract more teenagers.
