Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Lawrence Township Police Department say the manager of a Clearfield County McDonald's is facing charges, accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from the fast-food restaurant located along South Second Street.
Police say charges are pending against 54-year-old Kelly Bennett after an investigation revealed that she had issued dozens of unauthorized refunds to herself.
Investigators say Bennett allegedly made 66 unauthorized transactions, between October and November of this year.
Home Depot in Canada has pulled a Halloween decoration off of its shelves following complaints from customers.
The decoration is called the “Scary Pepper Creeper.”
The description on Home Depot’s website read that the decoration’s “realistic face looks just like a real man is peering through the window at you.”
However, one customer didn’t see the humor in the decoration.
She said the product “makes light” of a serious situation.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Many topics were discussed during this month’s Johnstown City Council meeting including a motion to adopt a new city commemorative banner.
The design for a new Johnstown commemorative banner was also voted on during the meeting after nearly 40 submissions were already narrowed down to two by city residents.
“And then it was the top two which were by Jackson Dewitt and Joan Gonkivic,” Tasha Adama, director of You in Flood City explained.
CLEARFIELD - A Clearfield County boy diagnosed with rare medical conditions met his idol on Sunday.
Owen Zelinski, 12, of Clearfield, had Lady Gaga sing to him at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Owen suffers from a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet syndrome, which causes him to experience frequent catastrophic seizures. He's also been diagnosed with dysgenisis of the corpus callosum, which means the left and right sides of his brain can't communicate with each other.
