PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — According to multiple reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers are releasing veteran wide-receiver Allen Robinson.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter says the decision will save Pittsburgh approximately $10 million in cap space.
The Steelers traded for Robinson last offseason, adding a veteran presence to the receiver room.
Robinson played in all 17 games last season for Pittsburgh, catching 34 passes for 280 total yards but no touchdowns.
The 30-year-old wideout previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and the LA Rams.
